What is the invisible boost in the Woodcutting Guild? ›

The Woodcutting Guild is a members-only guild located in the south-western corner of Hosidius. In order to enter the guild, players must have at least level 60 in Woodcutting (which can be boosted). While inside the guild, players will receive an invisible +7 level boost to their Woodcutting.

Cutting teak trees offers the fastest Woodcutting experience in the game when using tick manipulation. If the player is not using any sort of tick manipulation, cutting teak trees offers the fastest experience only up to level 65. 1.5-tick Woodcutting on Fossil Island.

Without tick manipulation, Teaks still offer the fastest Woodcutting Exp until level 65. The most common area to chop these trees are on Ape Atoll (if 2-Ticking), Tai Bwo Wannai Hardwood grove and the Hardwood Farming patches located on Fossil Island (if 1.5-Ticking).

Forestry events can occur whilst gathering logs in the overworld, excluding certain tree types such as regular trees, burnt trees, hollow trees, player-grown trees, the blisterwood tree, and trees within the Woodcutting Guild.

The boost takes effect while player is within the Woodcutting Guild. Stacks with visible boosts. Does not enable your character to chop logs it would otherwise not be able to cut (e.g., 83 woodcutting does not allow you to cut Redwood Logs).

Like all axes, it is both a weapon (requiring 60 Attack to wield) and a tool (requiring 61 Woodcutting to use). However, as long as the player has 60 Attack to wield the axe, the special attack can be used to woodcut with the axe starting at level 58.

Run trick. Aside from the combat and skilling applications, the "run trick" is a common and simple method of tick manipulation that can be used to avoid damage from traps, or to speed up navigation through dangerous areas.

Woodcutting is a gathering skill that primarily involves chopping trees to obtain logs used in the Fletching, Firemaking, and Construction skills. Players with a higher Woodcutting level can chop down new types of trees and cut down trees quicker, especially as higher levels of axes become available.

Woodcutting normally produces a 4-tick skilling timer delay, making a roll for a log happen every four ticks while cutting a tree. However, flinching can be used to schedule a completion once every two ticks, similar to 2-tick Fishing.
